Putin signs military pact with North Korea | BBC News


Russia and North Korea have signed a deal to help each other in the event of aggression against either country. The pact was announced as the Russian President Vladimir Putin visited North Korea. He received a red carpet welcome, including roses, waving crowds and ceremonial gunfire. The two countries reaffirmed their friendship and North Korea’s leader Kim Jong Un said he fully supported Russia's invasion of Ukraine The US and South Korea accuse the North of supplying Russia with artillery ammunition for the war in Ukraine, in exchange for food and military aid.
